Simmer Pots
Simmer pots are an excellent way to fill your home with festive scents during the holiday season and do not contain harmful chemicals!
Here's a Christmas cheer simmer pot recipe for you:
Ingredients:
- 1 orange, sliced
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 cup cranberries
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
- Water
Instructions:
1. Fill a medium-sized saucepan with water, about 3/4 full.
2. Add the orange slices, cinnamon sticks, cranberries, cloves, nutmeg, rosemary sprigs, and ginger slices to the water.
3. Place the saucepan on the stovetop and bring the water to a gentle simmer over low heat.
4. As the water heats, the ingredients release their aromas, filling your home with the scent of Christmas cheer.
5. Monitor the simmering pot and add more water to prevent it from drying out.
6. Enjoy the wonderful fragrance filling your home as the simmering pot works magic.
Note: Never leave a simmer pot unattended on the stove. Turn it off if you need to leave the house or sleep. Refill with more water and fresh ingredients to continue enjoying the lovely scents.
Enjoy this beautiful aroma, and Happy Holidays!
Lots of Love,
xoxo
